This is a well engineered bowl adze made in the Czech Republic. The curved CrMn blade is hardened to RC 59-61, with a grained ash handle.Hand adzes are an ideal step up from a gouge to speed up the process of roughing out large scale carvings or preparing turning blanks.This is the Narex adze with a shorter handle.
