Welcome to Tradie Republic, the NZ-owned tool & fastener heaven for Kiwi tradies and tool lovers.
Based in Wairau, our shelves are packed with the world's best tools and your everyday building supplies. We hang our hats on being ahead of the game with new products, unique brands, and competitive pricing. 

Founded in 2022, we launched Tradie Republic after noticing Kiwi tradies were paying too much for screws and nails and missing out on the best tools in the world. We have an obsessive passion for good gear - there's just something about tools that speaks to the caveman in all of us. Kiwi tradies are some of the most innovative on the planet, and with access to the world’s best gear, then mate, there's no stopping us.

We’re not here to be just another lick and stick tool shop charging top dollar for cheap knockoffs. We specialise in the real deal. Our fastener pricing is our way of giving back to small to medium-sized businesses who are getting "rung out" by the big corporates. We source our building supplies and fasteners from local suppliers, all up to NZ code.

Our strategy is simple: we don’t use profits from the little guy to fund discounts for big building companies. Instead, we invest back into stocking more world-class tools. So if you want better tool options, vote with your wallet, mate!
